Sharon Garfield opened Traditions in 1992 which has been located in Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte, NC since 2000. With over 30 years of experience, she can quickly create a full room plan with just a piece of tissue paper and photos from a customer.

As a former flight attendant and furniture salesman, Dave provides excellent customer service. As our Floor Specialist, he handles inside sales and special orders. With his 7 years of experience at Traditions, Dave is our go-to for upholstery knowledge. He can often be found assisting customers on the floor and answering any and all questions.

From floral arranging to repairing scratches on furniture pieces, Wayne is highly skilled. Having been at Traditions since the very early days, he is an essential part of the Traditions team.   He can manage the floor at the same time that he decorates for the holidays – a jack of all trades and our most versatile employee.

After shopping in Traditions for many years, Kristin Hobson joined the Traditions team almost 4 years ago. As our Floor Specialist, Kristin handles all the merchandise displays, front desk, and so many other tasks that keep our showroom floor in tip-top shape. You may have also seen her famous Golden Retriever, George, who works several days a week as our customer greeter.

Heather James is our indispensable General Manager and Bookkeeper at Traditions. With 13 years of dedicated service, Heather is the heartbeat of our store, meticulously overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Her attention to detail and commitment to staying current with market trends helps maintain Traditions’ strong reputation in today’s changing marketplace.
